    Anytime you hear somebody say their exercise/nutrition plan specifically targets stubborn bodyfat, run the other way. It's not possible folks. No matter what claim somebody makes, you cannot "target" body fat. Body fat comes off the entire body like the layers of an onion. A little bit all over. Obese people (men especially) just store more of their body fat around their abdomen, thus it's simply stubborn because there is more volume of fat there to lose, so it takes time.
    Hi, Rudy. We do realize that "spot reduction" is not possible. With that being said, the protocols we recommend do help burn off the stubborn, hard-to-lose fat that people can't seem to burn off no matter what they do (helping them overcome plateaus and adaptation).

    Makes a lot of sense. Stuff I haven't heard anywhere else before, or was only presented fragmentally/incomplete. Really something. You can see he's done the research instead of following like sheeple.Lol don't listen to these timing people... All that matters is the macro breakdown at the end of the day or week really...You should do a video on whether macronutrient ratios matter, for weight loss and fat loss, when a person is eating at a caloric deficit. This is the issue where there is the most debate and the one that matters the most.
    I've done all kinds of vids on stuff like this...fyi...this was a carb timing vid. Not a calorie deficit vid. Plus, ratios are all dependent on goals, current body fat levels...etc. but I've done plenty of vids on the right ratios for rapid fat loss and how to create more of a healthy calorie deficit...thanks for commenting.
    Of all your videos, what is the title of the one you would recommend, for a person eating at a calorie deficit of 3,500 a week, is 15% above their weight loss goal and 5% above their body fat goal, and wants to know if there is an advantage to a 20/35/45 vs. a 45/35/20 eating plan. Protein is a constant. The only difference is the carb vs. fat percentages. To keep the nuances reasonable, assume that the person has a desk job, lifts weights three times a week, and does cardio twice a week.

    You'll be fine as long as its post workout. If you're already lean you can get away with all kinds of different carb timing methods...it's the people who are overweight that should pay attention to tricks like this and focus more on a overall calorie deficit..if you're already 6%...you can play around with a lot of different methods and not have to worry about it.     Well, there are many different ways to go about Macro-Patterning. Carb depleting for 3-5 days is one way of doing it, but I wouldn't recommend doing this week after week. Your body will definitely adapt and you're going to decrease your metabolism a lot. Did you see our 3-Day Rapid Fat Loss Blueprint?     GREAT Q. First of all the 50 grams a day is simply one of many carb cycling tactics that should be used short term...or 3 or 4 days of the week when "other" days are much higher carbs. Additionally the 50 grams is merely an example...there are Deplete Days where I go as low as 20 gram and as high as 100...but using 50 for 3 or 4 days in a row after a food bender or higher carb intake is a great way to deplete FAST in a healthy way and create a few days of rapid fat loss w/o going crazy. :).

    Sure. You can do it this way. Just make sure to stay at 50g of carbs and then don't go "overboard" on the cheat day.For weight loss i think you should eat maximum of 70g of carbs per day, and try to avoid high GI carbs foods, so your insulin levels don't get too high and you can lose fat.
    you dont need to go that low.. you can lose weight with 3x of that amount and even more. It is dangerous to eat such low amounts of carbs.. yeah sure you might lose weight but it is not healthy at all and can do terrible things to you body. It affects your hormones, etc. in a bad way.
    Now I'm not saying that you do the opposite and eat a huge amount of carbs.. it all depends on your body type, activity level, etc. But I think that the lowest you should go is 0.5/0.7 - 1 gram pr lbs of bw with a high carb day every now and then.
    See my comment below and watch the entire vid and my other vids...I talk about this stuff ALL the time. It's a short term carb cycling trick...not a long term approach.
