    thats alot of work doc. i am sure there are other ways to have a nice lean body without this much of a discipline.I eat closer to every 2 hours, sometimes every three depending on my day. Here is my eating schedule: 8:00AM - Protein shake 10:00AM - 8 Egg whites and oatmeal 12:00PM - Protein shake (right after my workout) 1:00PM (Post workout) - Chicken breast and brown rice 3:00PM - Protein shake 6:00PM - Fish/chicken breat and brown rice I sometimes have another protein shake before bed if I'm feeling hungry.eat lots of fiber such a s greens, lettuce, celery stuff like that...they fill you up with less calories and that way you don't eat as much meat and or are tempted to eat more.     While a very good video, I think the point about having many meals a day is wrong from one side. You state that bodybuilders eat many meals a day while sumo wrestlers eat only one (and are obviously really fat). This gives the impression that the meal count is what makes them fat, it isn't. Bhuddist monks only have one meal a day and they are extremely skinny. It depends on what you eat, not how many times you eat. But I do agree that many meals is a good idea for the reasons you suggest.

    I have lost 25 pounds since August 1st doing a low calorie diet. I have hit a plateau these last two weeks and need to rethink my program.     drinking gatorade once in a while is okay but most likely should be taken after a rigorous workout..too many people don't workout hard enough to have to drink gatorade..water will do for the most part..gatorade has sugar and calories, remember that.
    i was wondering if 1 hour a day can be overtraining then what about footballers and other gymnast who train almost the wholeday? is it a myth about overtraining or do u think it really means something? i'll be very THANKFUL if u give ur feedback on this..em so very confused about my workouts and training..Royalguitarist I'm no expert but you might want to consider a theory called "Dual Factor". The simplified example is to do frequent exercises during the week (like you did, but rest atleast 1 or 2 days), but not so that a single 1h exercise will drain you out. Also the idea is to train a single body part more than 1 times per week. Keep on doing this for 3 weeks then do an easy week: less workouts and keep it really easy. Total rest is possible too.many thanx for commenting on that! i have been working out almost 7 days a week 1 hour atleast everyday but found no increase in strenght or muscularity. i read somewhere it can be overtraining? do u think my routine can be overtraining?
    over training can have negative affects on your muscle building/toning goals, you shouldn't really need to do more then work out 5days a week(all msucle groups should be dun in that time) & the only time you should be able to work out 7 days a week with no detramentale affects is when you do 30-45 weight seasons which you should be doing anyways. muscle grows while you rest, lifting weighs only strains your muscle so that when you rest you gain muscle.

    sorry this isn't dr.clay but wanted to chime in...not seeing any gains does mean you're overtraining to the fullest..7 days a week is simply too much.
